From the daunting perspective at the top of the stairs, an animal-like image pierces the space, intertwining dream, myth and subtle spirituality, stretching the viewer’s visual expectations – altering the perspective of logic and sense... opening up pathways of possibilities.

A statue contemplates a merry-go-round sinking in snow. The statue doesn’t seem to know that its head is one more “star” in a Big Dipper arrangement of sea shells. The permanence of the Big Dipper contrasts with the ephemeral snow and the askew merry-go-round, effectively deconstructing the way we think about how those configurations function in their traditional setting.
